Tuzilishi jihatidan Ayvonning dahliz-ayvon, ustunli ayvon, ravokli ayvon kabi turlari bor. Ravoqli ayvonning eng murakkabi peshtoq shaklida quriladi. Ayvon sahni ko‘pincha sufa (supa) deb ataladi. Ayvon, odatda, chiroyli qilib bezatiladi.
